Slimage processes your images locally on your Mac. This page explains the network services used by optional features and this website.
Images and local settings
Images are not uploaded for compression. Originals are preserved, and output files are written separately. Presets and preferences are saved on your Mac. File and folder access uses the permissions you grant through macOS.
Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync, supported settings and presets are stored using Apple CloudKit and shared through your iCloud account. Images and local folder permissions are not synced. Apple processes this data under Apple’s privacy policy.
This website
The website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. It is designed to be hosted on Cloudflare, which may process request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
App updates
The website edition can contact the update service to check for and download new versions. The Mac App Store edition uses Apple’s update system. These services do not upload your images.
Support
If you email codingiran@gmail.com, the information you send is used to respond to your request. Only include images or logs you are comfortable sharing. The support mailbox is provided by Gmail; see Google’s privacy policy.
